COUGH - "Ritual Abuse"

Cough describe their latest opus thus : "Ritual Abuse is the result of all the shit and suffering we put ourselves through to continue to write this music. Hopefully you all feel as miserable listening to it as we did creating it."

This was needed fast, so I pretty much went on gut instinct for this one, taking literal cues from certain lyrics along the way, although "70's styled Satanism" was the starting point.
I had originally planned to paint the background textures, but flat colour seemed starker and I was afraid of the artwork becoming indistinct at CD size, though Cough fans should definitely seek out the gatefold vinyl version of this which has a bonus track.

"Ritual Abuse" was recorded with Sanford Parker, and is released sometime this Fall via Relapse Records on both CD and 2 x 12" vinyl formats.

  5. The pentagram stone or whatever it may be looks really neat. My band Uncreationist are about to release our debut EP self financed and need a cover picture. Of course, money may be real tight, but you do look perfectly qualified for the artist. We may also need a logo. The whole EP can be found here ttp://www.mediafire.com/?uvwj2zjuazm
